Todd Pletcher has sent out three winning 2-year-olds at the meet, and he has two debuting fillies by Eskendereya in Thursday’s opener, scheduled for the inner turf.
Coming off a week in which speed dominated, a pick-six carryover of $42,460 kicks off the Thursday program. Now is a good time to preview the sequence, races 3-8.

There are four first-time geldings in the late pick four sequence, beginning in the first leg, race 6, with Nowhere to Run.
Speed was effective on Queen’s Plate Day last Sunday, when front-runners and stalkers won eight of the nine Polytrack events. The exception was the 1 1/4-mile Plate itself, in which a fast pace negated the bias that was bucked by closers Lexie Lou and Ami’s Holiday, who ran one-two.
