The 2025 Belmont Stakes, like the prior year, will be run at a distance of 1 ¼ miles at Saratoga Race Course, while Belmont Park undergoes construction. This marks the eighth time in the race's history that the Belmont Stakes has been run at 1 ¼ miles, having been run at this distance six times between 1890-1905.
