Sensitivity has done her best work on the front end and should revert back to those tactics for Sunday’s eighth race at Gulfstream Park.
“She’s going to be closer this time, absolutely,” trainer Jose D’Angelo said. “She didn’t have the best trip last time.”

There is a possibility the program could be canceled in the event of substantial rainfall. Hilary is expected to lose power quickly as it moves north and comes ashore, bringing wind and rain to Southern California.
Dirt Road Red will attempt to win for the sixth time in a row in Sunday’s allowance feature over six furlongs at Emerald Downs.
The resurgent gelding was claimed for $25,000 from his last race on July 28 and will make his first start for trainer Candice Cryderman on Sunday.
“He settled into our barn very nicely,” Cryderman said. “He’s a good feeling horse and very sharp”.
The 6-year-old now has a record of 11 wins, 14 seconds, and 8 thirds from 44 career starts with a bankroll of $203,698. He also boasts the most wins of any horse this season at Emerald Downs.
Jockey Avery Whisman rode his final races on Aug. 23, 2022, at Presque Isle Downs. On Jan. 11, he died by suicide at age 23.
On Monday, Presque Isle will host the $80,000 Avery Whisman Memorial Stakes. His death, followed by the suicide of fellow rider Alex Canchari at age 29 on March 1, created a watershed moment for the Thoroughbred industry regarding the mental health of those who participate in the sport.

Supplemental entrant Touch’n Ride is a late addition to the King’s Plate party. A maiden winner in July, he is seeking to become the first horse to win the Plate in their third career start since Awesome Again in 1997. ETOBICOKE, Ontario – There’s a wide variety of contenders for bettors to peruse in Sunday’s 164th running of the $1 million King’s Plate, the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown at Woodbine, which lured 17 Canadian-bred 3-year-olds, plus two also eligibles.

Three-year-old turf fillies going nine furlongs in California, and 3-year-old dirt fillies going 10 furlongs at Saratoga. There’s a nice balance to that, and strong opinions have been formed in both the Del Mar Oaks and the Alabama.
