After a Sunday sequence bookended with upset wins by Mah Jong Maddnes ($20.20) and Spinning for Home ($17.20), a pick six carryover of $35,498 awaits bettors as racing resumes following the two-day break.
The harrowed main track was drying out and labeled “good” for the first four races. Following race 5, a turf sprint, the track was upgraded to “fast” for race 6, and indeed it appeared to get faster through the second half of the day.
