X Y Jet is a fast horse. He ran a 92 Beyer in finishing a close second in the Hutcheson, and on two other occasions over his last four starts he has posted 88 Beyers. And for those reason he is alternative selection to Daredevil in the Swale Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

That 107 Beyer Speed Figure that Swale favorite Daredevil earned in the Champagne would look like an aberration if Upstart had not come back to prove it was not an aberration. So Daredevil may be that good. Still, with the inside post and all that speed outside of him, this is a tricky spot for Daredevil.
