King: Remington Park pick four for Oklahoma Derby Night

Here’s my handicapping analysis and wagering strategy for the late $100,000-guaranteed pick four on Sunday at Remington Park, a sequence that includes all stakes, including the meet’s highlight, the Grade 3 Oklahoma Derby.

Sunday’s TimeformUS Highlight Horse: High Promise looks ready to deliver in third start off layoff

The two obvious horses who are going to take money are Im the Captain Now (#6) and Peace Speaker (#12). Bernier: How I'll play Belmont Park on Saturday, Sept. 23

Saturday’s card at Belmont Park features two graded stakes races, the Grade 3 Nobel Damsel and the Grade 2 Kelso. The Nobel Damsel is carded as the third race on a 10-race program, and I’ll look to close out the early pick three with a single in there.

Hammersly: Oak Tree at Pleasanton pick four for Sunday, Sept. 24

A sharp Southern California raider may prove to be your linchpin in the first leg of Sunday’s pick four (races 6-9) at Oak Tree at Pleasanton. If she can do the expected (likely at a short price, unfortunately), spreading in the second leg, a very tough distaff sprint, may help you snag a price.
