Wild Wild West wins the $57,123 Gray's Lake Stakes for 3-year-old Iowa-breds.

ALTOONA, Iowa - Wild Wild West ($2.40) kicked clear approaching the stretch and went on to score a 7 1/4-length victory in the $57,123 Gray's Lake Stakes for 3-year-old Iowa-breds.

Wild Wild West ran the six furlongs over the good racing surface in a quick 1:09.68 under jockey Tim Doocy. The victory was Wild Wild West's third straight and his first stakes score, and it runs his record to 3-3-0 in 6 starts. A $100,000 show wager on Wild Wild West led to a $25,543 minus show pool.

Hollywood: Winendynme sprints to victory

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Ineffective in recent stakes at a mile, Winendynme reverted to sprinting in the $79,950 Manhattan Beach Handicap - and scored the first stakes win of her nine-race career.

Ridden by Jose Valdivia Jr., Winendynme ($9.80) rallied from fifth to win by two lengths over Very Vegas. Allswellthatnswell finished third in the field of seven 3-year-old fillies. The Dempsey Look, the 4-5 favorite, was never in contention and finished fourth.

Multiple Choice ($31) finds right spot

ELMONT, N.Y. - Trainer Jimmy Jerkens said he had been trying to run Multiple Choice in the Jaipur Handicap for two years. Sunday, he got his opportunity and his desired result.

Multiple Choice, making his turf debut in his 35th career start, wore down the mare Dedication inside the sixteenth pole to win Sunday's $112,200 Jaipur by a half-length. Dedication, the 5-2 favorite, finished 1 1/2 lengths ahead of Geronimo in third.

Multiple Choice had lost his last 10 starts dating back to the Dec. 29, 2002, when he took the Gravesend Handicap over Aqueduct's inner track.

River Mountain Road wins the $50,000 Jim Rasmussen Memorial Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

ALTOONA, Iowa - River Mountain Rd ($5.60) survived a prolonged pace duel to score a 1 1/4-length victory over Dusty Spike in the $50,000 Jim Rasmussen Memorial Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

River Mountain Rd, trained by Bob Holthus proved gamest through the drive while clocking the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.10.

Delaware Park: Pilfer holds on

Pilfer upset the $100,600 Go for Wand stakes at Delaware Park, taking charge from the odds-on pacesetter, Speedy Falcon, at the top of the stretch and then holding off a late challenge from Hopelessly Devoted to win by a half-length.

From Away put in a mild rally to wind up third, five lengths behind Hopelessly Devoted and 1 1/4 lengths in front of Speedy Falcon in fourth. Pilfer ($19.60), trained by John Servis and ridden by Jose Caraballo, covered the distance in 1:46.66 over a fast track.

Due to Win wins Fleur de Lis Stakes

Bossier City, La. - Living up to her name, Due to Win wore down favorite Southern Surprise down the lane to capture the inaugural running of the Fleur de Lis Stakes Sunday afternoon at Louisiana Downs. Southern Surprise held on for the place spot with Blue Guru checking in third.

The victory was Due to Win's first since the 2002 season and the 11th of her career. Howard Scarberry, who owns the veteran campaigner in partnership with his wife Penny, trains the 9-year-old mare and was also her breeder.

Excessive Barb sets Bay Meadows course record

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Excessive Barb broke Bay Meadows' Longden Turf Course five-furlong record, winning a $32,000 claimer in 56.32 seconds.

Excessive Barb won by six lengths in wire-to-wire style, breaking Lytle Creek's previous record of 56.71 set Aug. 18, 2003, also in a $32,000 claimer.

High Court captures Fort Monmouth

High Court, and jockey Christopher DeCarlo, run to the finish in the $60,000 Fort Monmouth Stakes at Monmouth Park.

High Court, a Grade 1 winner in Brazil, made her United States debut a winning one as she rallied to win the $60,000 Fort Monmouth Stakes Sunday afternoon at Monmouth Park.

High Court ($17.60) had won five of eight races in her native land but failed to generate strong betting support from the crowd of 18,104.

With Chris DeCarlo aboard, High Court came charging through the lane to beat Delta Princess by 1 1-2 lengths with Mrs. M third.

High Court ran the mile over the firm turf in 1:36.10.

Kylers Midge wins Tellike Handicap

Carencro, La - Kylers Midge stalked pacesetter Light Fling then drew clear of that one through the stretch to win Saturday night's Tellike Handicap by two and a half lengths. Light Fling held the place comfortably and was followed by Power of Dreams. 5-2 favorite Sea Bloom, fractious prior to loading into the gate, staged a steady retreat to finish seventh and last in the field of fillies and mares.
