Taking advantage of a rated first-half, American Power pulled off an upset Friday night at the Meadowlands, defeating two big-time, headline-grabbing Hambletonian contenders in the featured $25,000 second leg of the New Jersey Sire Stakes for 3-year-old colt and gelding Platinum-level trotters.
Miss Jum Jabber, Hope Hill and I'm A Lou Lou went home with top honors from a trio of $35,851 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Friday evening at The Meadows.

Three-year-old trotters were at Tioga Downs for New York Sire Stakes races on Friday evening. Fillies competed in one $123,900 event, while the boys were split into two $59,100 divisions.
Yannick Gingras flew into Woodbine Mohawk Park for a pair of drives in the two C$30,000 Goodtimes eliminations - a Grade 2 event for trotting 3-year-olds - on Friday night (June 5) and found the winner's circle with both, guiding 4-5 favorite Magic Punk and 4-1 third choice Neighver Punt to victories.

It was at Saratoga last summer where Nitrogen proved she could handle dirt as well, if not better, than turf, and that versatility translated into a championship campaign.
