The Meadows: Miss Jum Jabber quickest in Friday's Pennsylvania Sire Stakes

Miss Jum Jabber, Hope Hill and I'm A Lou Lou went home with top honors from a trio of $35,851 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Friday evening at The Meadows.

Driven by Andy McCarthy, Miss Jum Jabber won for the seventh straight time in her test, prevailing in 1:50. She parked past a 28 1/5 quarter to get the lead, and after she had it, she went on to the half in 56 2/5 and the three-quarters in 1:23 en route to defeating pocket-sitter Bahama Momma (Dave Palone) by three-quarters of a length. Gonebutnotforgottn (Ronnie Wrenn Jr.) raced well from first-up and was third.

Trainer Brett Pelling also owns Miss Jum Jabber, a daughter of Bettor's Wish bred by Let It Ride Stables Inc. with Alagna Racing LLC. Unraced as a 2-year-old, she has earned $93,638 to go with her 7-0-0 mark from eight outings and paid $2.10 to win.

Hope Hill (Mike Wilder) rallied in the passing lane from the pocket to win the second split by a head in 1:51 1/5. Caviart Daisy (Brady Brown) was the runner-up from first-over, and Bettor Be A Star (Wrenn Jr.), who moved from third to first in the second quarter, wound up third.

A Papi Rob Hanover homebred for Tom Hill, Hope Hill is trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. Hope Hill has six wins, three seconds and three thirds from 13 tries, has pocketed $140,655 and returned $4.40 to win.

I'm A Lou Lou (Wrenn Jr.) took the final flight in 1:50 1/5 after she put up fractions of 27, 55 4/5 and 1:22 3/5. She defeated pocket-sitter Makemblush Hanover (Palone) by three-quarters of a length, with Fitness First (Ridge Warren) up for third.

Ron Burke trains I'm A Lou Lou, a Sweet Lou filly. Bred by Add Inc., I'm A Lou Lou is owned by Burke Racing Stable LLC., Knox Services Inc., Larry Karr and Phil Collura. She's a four-time victor from 15 trips behind the gate, has put away $290,317 and paid $5.60 to win.

Capturing four $20,000 Pennsylvania Stallion Series sections were:

--Sicerto (by Sweet Lou and bred by Steve Stewart and Buck Haven Farm Inc., paid $3.20 to win) in 1:52 for driver Andy McCarthy, trainer Noel Daley and owners Ctc Stable, Kdp Stable LLC. and Manklin Creek LLC.;

--Tall Dark Tequila (by Tall Dark Stranger and bred by co-owner Chuck Pompey with Northfork Racing Stable, paid $4.40 to win) in 1:51 4/5 for driver Dave Palone, trainer Hunter Oakes and co-owner Flying A Racing Stable;

--Joyful Hanover (by Always B Miki and bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, paid $7.80 to win) in 1:51 3/5 for driver Ronnie Wrenn Jr., trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., Weaver Bruscemi LLC., William Switala and James Martin;

--Real Fast (by Papi Rob Hanover and bred by co-owners Knox Services Inc. and Slaughter Racing Stable LLC., paid $4.20 to win) in 1:52 for driver Ronnie Wrenn Jr., trainer Ron Burke and co-owners Burke Racing Stable LLC. and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
