Barbados, winner of the Spectacular Bid and Hutcheson Stakes this month at Gulfstream Park, will undergo minor knee surgery Tuesday at the Rood and Riddle equine medical center in Kentucky, trainer Mike Tomlinson revealed Wednesday at Gulfstream.

A field of 12 3-year-olds has been entered for the Grade 3, $250,000 Sam F. Davis Stakes on Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar, Fla.
