Take Charge Brandi in post 6 for Martha Washington
Shigeki Kikkawa Champion filly Take Charge Brandi is being pointed to the Jan. 31 Martha Washington Stakes.
Take Charge Brandi has drawn post 6 in a field of seven for the $100,000 Martha Washington at Oaklawn on Saturday.
The one-mile race for 3-year-old fillies will be the 2015 debut for Take Charge Brandi, whose wins in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, Grade 3 Delta Downs Princess, and Grade 1 Starlet secured her the Eclipse Award for outstanding 2-year-old filly of 2014.
Jon Court has the mount on Take Charge Brandi, who races for Willis Horton and is trained by D. Wayne Lukas.
