Little Alexis returns in Orange Blossom

Five months after having any chance of winning the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint virtually eliminated due to a severe reaction to a routine injection given the previous day, Little Alexis finally returns to the races in Saturday’s $60,000 Orange Blossom Handicap at Gulfstream Park.

Sadler high on Stellar Wind in Santa Anita Oaks

Stellar Wind was an unheralded shipper from Laurel Park when she made her Santa Anita debut in late February. The last-out maiden winner snuck up on the locals, posted a decisive Grade 3 victory, and shot straight to the head of the class.
