In race 1, LETTER FLY (3) finished a close fourth off a winter layoff April 21 in an ultra-key $25,000 claimer from which the first, second, third, and sixth horses all excited to excel. She’s back at the same level at 4-1 on the line, and I’ll play her to win at 3-1 or higher.
The Preakness card at Pimlico is filled with multirace wagers, and I’ll look at the second of three pick-four sequences, beginning with race 6. The middle pick four has a guaranteed pool of $500,000, so hopefully we can make a score and roll it into the final pick four of the day.
