Sunday’s card at Gulfstream doesn’t have its usual weekend flash, with no stakes on the day, but with 12 races on deck, there are plenty of betting options.
Race 2 is the first race I have marked on my Form with a horse that intrigues me. In that contest, PAMPAM (#2) is returned to dirt, dropped in class to a level at which she has been competitive, and has her blinkers removed.

A brutally tough Santa Ana (race 7) is the day’s feature, and if you can get that one correct, it may lead to a solid payoff in the late pick three as you can spread there looking for your price, while races 8 and 9 give you a couple chances to take a stand.
Race 7
When you play basketball with someone and they continue to hit shots, you continue to feed that player the ball, sticking with the hot hand. It’s the same in this game. Right now, there’s one barn on a roll, particularly when teaming with another rider, so we’ll continue “feed that player” at least once on Sunday’s card. This filly may prove a linchpin for both your in-race and multi-race wagers.

The Gulfstream card on Saturday has all the makings of a quality race meeting. There are two stakes races as well as a plethora of intriguing maiden and allowance events.
