Race 5: Dancingwthdaffodls (#7)
Ran better than it appears in her turf starts, especially on Oct. 5, when she got shuffled back early.
Has improved her form on dirt for the Edmund Pringle barn and may be able to do better with this surface switch.
Gets a significant jockey switch to excellent turf rider Jose Ortiz.

Peck: Penn National late pick four play for Saturday, June 1, 2019

Solid card at Penn National, and the late pick four comprises all stakes races. Here's a look:

RACE 8: Using all five that are left in here after scratches betting interests, as the Susquehanna Stakes is fairly wide open, and later legs in this sequence seem easier to pare down. SOUPER STRIKING and ENCHANTED GHOST are horses I'll use as A plays, but I'll use them all to some degree.
A's: 5, 7
B's: 2, 4
C's: 6

Aragona: Belmont Park late pick four for Saturday, June 1, 2019

The late pick-four sequence at Belmont on Saturday begins in race 6 and includes the featured eighth race, the Grade 3 Pennine Ridge. That stakes is an intriguing affair, yet it’s actually one of the more straightforward events in an otherwise-daunting quartet of races. Given the difficulty of this sequence, it will be necessary to spread in a few legs and adopt a more targeted approach in others.

Race 1: Real Money (#4)
The 112 TimeformUS Speed Figure that he earned last time out is the highest in the field.
Should appreciate the slight cutback in distance to six furlongs.
Strong workout last week suggests he’s coming into this race in top form.

BreezeFigs Quick-Pix, for Saturday, June 1, 2019 by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore

Very good 2-year-old Pix last week as Karak won easily at Belmont and paid more than we expected ($5.30) while Run Devil did what we hoped at Gulfstream, completing a nice $20 for two bucks exacta with the favorite. There was also the first BreezeFigs exacta of the year for 2-year-olds, at Santa Anita. Meanwhile, the 3-year-olds continued on their merry way with seven of them breaking their maidens at: Belmont (two), Golden Gate, Gulfstream, Parx, Santa Anita (BreezeFigs exacta) and Woodbine.

Race 1: Reata’s Reward (#1)
The Pace Projector is predicting that she will be on or near the lead in a situation favoring the front-runner.
Lost all chance last time when she stumbled badly at the start.
The way she was bet last time suggests she might be ready to get back to her top races for the prior barn.
7-2 on ML

A perfect-trip Preakness winner will create betting value in Belmont Stakes

Susie Raisher
Spinoff, shown training at Belmont Park on Wednesday, is one of several Belmont Stakes starters who should offer betting value.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – When presented with a horse coming off a victory aided by a perfect trip, a bet-against strategy is typically worthwhile. These types are often regression candidates at underlaid prices.

Next Saturday, one such perfect-trip runner – Preakness winner War of Will – runs in the Belmont Stakes, potentially creating mutuel value on his rivals, which as of this writing nine days before the race is expected to total around eight. What follows is a look at four of those opponents who most excite based on their form, workouts, and pedigrees.
