TimeformUS Aqueduct Horses in Focus for Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019

Race 1: Its a Ford (#2)

Had previously earned some competitive speed figures on other circuits before coming into Rob Atras’s barn.

Ran better than it appears last time, when she closed well over a racetrack that was favoring front-runners.

Is likely to be an overlay due to the presence of turf horse Shannon’s Girl.

7-2 on ML

TimeformUS Aqueduct Horses in Focus for Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019

Race 1: Henni Penny (#3)

Was green first time out, pausing at the three-sixteenths pole when put in tight quarters before finishing well.
Should be more professional in her second career start for a barn whose runners tend to improve with experience.
Is bred for these conditions since her female family is mainly composed of turf sprinters.

3-1 on ML

BreezeFigs Quick-Pix Saturday, November 30, 2019 by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore

Last week’s Pick bored us to death from the start, but at least there were four BreezeFigs maiden winners elsewhere on that day’s card, part of a baker’s dozen that came during the week at 11 tracks, at: Aqueduct, Charles Town, Churchill (two, including a BreezeFigs exacta), Del Mar, Fair Grounds, Finger Lakes, Gulfstream West, Hawthorne, Laurel, Mountaineer and Remington (two). How’s that for almost running the alphabet?

Weekend GamePlan for Nov. 30, 2019: Picks for Hollywood Derby, Jimmy Durante, and Discovery Stakes

Adam Coglianese/NYRA
Princesa Caroline, a half-sister to Lady Eli trained by Chad Brown, would be a major contender in the Chelsey Flower.

Now that’s more like it.

After several fallow weekends following the Breeders’ Cup on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, there’s robust North American stakes action this Saturday. Del Mar has its turf festival with several playable races, Aqueduct chimes in with a multi-stakes card, and Churchill’s all-2-year-old program has star potential scattered across the afternoon.

TimeformUS Aqueduct Horses in Focus for Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019

Race 2: Danny California (#8)

Was compromised by a slow pace and kickback that was hindering closers last time.

Ran deceptively well, albeit against cheaper company, in his two turf starts for previous trainer Jorge Abreu.

Has improved significantly in recent months and can better his prior turf form.

8-1 on ML

Race 3: Fabulous Fun (#1)

Was touted prior to his Saratoga debut and has trained well for his return this year.

Race 4: Millionaire Joe (#2)
Was hindered by an outside post position and wide trip at this level last time.
Has a right to step forward in his second start off the layoff.
Possesses the speed to sit closer to the pace than last time from a more advantageous inside post position.
6-1 on morning line
