Race 1: Girl of Tosconova (#3)
Earned a competitive 95 TimeformUS Speed Figure going this distance two back.
Encountered trouble in upper stretch last time and still ran on well thereafter.
Should offer decent value since her main rival will get bet based off superior turf performances in this dirt race.

Race 1: Bassman Dave (#1)
The Pace Projector is predicting he can be on the lead in a situation favoring the front-runner.
Has been overmatched against tougher N.Y.-bred allowance company in his recent dirt starts.
Seems to run his best races when he can be forwardly placed and in the clear.
9-2 on ML

Race 2: Family Biz (#5)
Did well to close into a slow pace last time going today’s distance, suggesting he’s rounding back into form.
Has generally faced tougher company than most of his rivals in this race and gets some class relief here.
Had run his best dirt races at Aqueduct previously and now gets back to this track.
6-1 on ML
We’re still in the post-Breeders’ Cup North American stakes lull that’ll get busted up next week when Churchill comes with all its Thanksgiving-week stakes. Fair Grounds is getting started, the Cigar Mile card at Aqueduct is just around the corner in early December, and things will soon heat up at Gulfstream Park.
For now, though, we’re still left with slim pickings. The Red Smith in New York is a legitimately interesting race, but to get three possibly playable Saturday stakes, we’ll have to venture to little Delta Downs and north of the border to Woodbine.
