Top Pick Stats: 308/962 (-$426.90) Best Bets: 37/86 (-$20.60); Spot Plays: 19/89 (-$64.50) Best Bet: EXACTLY CORRECT (Race 12) Spot Play: STORMONT BEAUTIFUL (Race 7) Early Pick-5: 2,9/3,5,8/3/5,10/8   $2.40 All Stakes Pick-5: 1,6,8/3,7/2,9/3/5   $2.40 Late Pick-5: 2,7,9/3/5/6/4,5,8   $1.80 Race 1: NW $25,000 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: 4 YEAR OLDS. (9) CHRISTOPHER DANCE N was heavily supported off the bench for good reason. He just ended up with a trip that wouldn’t have allowed many horses to win that night. Second back with Lasix feels like the winning combo. (2) WAFFLE BLUE CHIP made two moves to get back to the lead and sprinted away to a career best win. An early spot on the card should see another fast mile and see him right in the mix. (7) CRACK SHOT throws a wrench into this race with his potential. His qualifier was excellent, but I would’ve liked to see him have that May 30 race under his belt too. His best has him right there. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $22,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: NW $85,000 LIFETIME. AE: N/A $2,870 P/S IN 2026. (3) CAVIAR N CRACKERS performed well in the Forest City pace and drops another notch to a level that can allow her to showcase her back class. (5) MYBITCOIN is third back after two off the pace tries. I think another step forward is likely, but she needs to be closer to the front. (8) GLENBORO needed some time off after an extended campaign against upper-level mares. Her return qualifier was solid behind Crack Shot. If forwardly placed, she should be in the mix. Race 3: GOODTIMES FINAL: (GR 2). 3 YEAR OLD COLTS AND GELDINGS. (3) MAGIC PUNK showed he didn’t need a start when he drew away from his competition in his elimination. Hard to imagine him not being even better tonight. (5) NEIGHVER PUNT got a great steer from Gingras in his elim and just got up in the final few strides. Dunn may not be in the biggest hurry considering last week’s success off a helmet. You get the feeling (1) STROBE LITE still has more to offer, but he was beaten on the square last week by Magic Punk and would have to get things to fall into place. Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, WINNERS OF 3 BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 RACES OR $100,500 (OS $125,000) LIFETIME. AE: 4 YR OLDS NW $100 IN 2026. (5) AXIAL just got up after a perfect trip but had been sitting on a win at this level. He draws better than his main rivals and is likely to get another good setup. (10) FIGMENT will probably be an overlay this week, but navigating the high draw cancels that out in my opinion. He was extremely sharp four back when grinding first over against Aye Aye Captain Deo, which feels like the trip he might get, and it’s not like his sharp form went away after losing by a nose. (7) SILVERWALLS is third back at Mohawk and has put together two strong efforts in as many races. I like him more off a helmet, but he has shown to be able to grind into contention. Race 5: FREE FOR ALL. (8) LOGAN PARK looks to be back after his latest where he cruised against Open company. He finds himself against a few Grand Circuit foes tonight, but a repeat of that mile gives him every chance in my opinion. (2) LEXUS KODY has fair excuses in both starts this year and it took him a few starts before he really got going last season. I’ll count on him being ready despite almost a month off. (5) FRENCH WINE looks to pick up where he left off in Canada, but only having one start this year gives me slight hesitation that he’ll be fully torqued for tonight. If he is forwardly placed, he could trip out at a square number. Race 6: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: NW $42,000 IN 2026 (MIN 10 STARTS). (1) STONEBRIDGE HELIOS was a really good second last week after being torched in the opening half. Dunn gets to drive him again and he doesn’t have to face off against last week’s heavy favorite. (3) DUBLIN DASHER gets a big post switch after having to settle for a check out of that same race. He fits much better at this level overall. I would expect a better effort from him tonight. (5) JORDY N was making up the most ground in the final quarter after those wicked fractions were set. He could get away a spot or two closer tonight, setting him up better to potentially hit the board. Race 7: ARMBRO FLIGHT FINAL: (GR 2). 3 YEAR OLDS AND OLDER - FILLIES AND MARES. STARTING FEE: $1,500 CDN $1,150 USD. (1) STORMONT BEAUTIFUL has improved with each start back and really looks like she has been pointed towards this race. Her kick should make her a threat at a potential price. (6) YO TILLIE appeared susceptible in the KYSS Final and got beat as the heavy favorite. She just didn’t look like herself throughout those three races. That said, I think the Breeders Crown champ from last season can find top form again. (8) BRAVO ANGEL S has the fitness edge on a couple of these in my opinion and is likely to get a forward trip in my opinion. A competitive group, no doubt. Race 8: ROSES ARE RED FINAL: (GR 1). 3 YEAR OLDS AND OLDER - FILLIES AND MARES. (3) LOUIES GIRL N made multiple moves en route to a win in her elimination and was able to hold off the closers. She should have a chance to show off even more tonight. (7) TALK CURDY TO ME will be a huge price but I thought she held her own with Miki And Minnie. She just wasn’t in the right spot. If Roy fires out, she could find a similar trip to what she got three starts ago. (2) MIKI AND MINNIE is third back now and produced a solid mile of her own in her elimination. She is another major threat in another competitive race. Race 9: MOHAWK GOLD CUP: (GR 3). INVITATIONAL. (9) ERVIN HANOVER made a methodical move to the lead and kept that advantage for the rest of the mile. They weren’t catching him there, and although he faces a tougher field, I would expect him to be even better tonight. (2) COACHES CORNER has gotten around the Mohawk oval well in the past and comes off a solid effort in the Auger, which has proven to be a key race as of late. Bartlett gives this Engblom trainee the nod. Think he could add value to exotics. (7) PRINCE HAL HANOVER had to work from off the pace in the Battle of Lake Erie, but moved forward when he tipped four wide and just missed. He returns to Mohawk and will hopefully not get torched like he did two back. Race 10: FAN HANOVER FINAL: (GR 1). 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES. (3) LOUA DIPA was once again ridiculously good at Mohawk and looks like the filly to beat again. I’ll give this special Burke filly the nod over her main rival. (5) BE PERFECT BG boasts a perfect record through nine starts and will likely give Loua Dipa everything she can handle. It’s likely to set up a big money battle between these two. (6) PERFECT THOUGHT pulled off the upset in her elim and has proven to have a middle move that can get her into contention. I can see her being the best of the rest if the top two show up. Race 11: PEPSI NORTH AMERICA CUP XLIII FINAL: (GR 1). 3 YEAR OLDS. (5) BEAU JANGLES was one of a few horses that didn’t look like himself last week, and that’s being said about a horse that took the lead for a brief moment at the top of the stretch. I think McClure rolls him out of there and takes no prisoners. I think he rebounds in the biggest way. (3) ODDS ON MR MAMBA silenced the doubters when beating Beau Jangles and that was despite being in the seven path at the wire. Logic would tell us that he has more to show if that doesn’t happen. (4) SWEET LOVIN LOU picks up a more than capable catch driver on a horse that has the ability to win this race. He still has looming quirks, there’s no doubt, but he is showing more with more experience. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 12: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $24,500) LIFETIME. AE: 3 YR OLDS NW $100 IN 2026. (6) EXACTLY CORRECT is third back after a couple of off the pace tries where he showed some excellent kick. I think he will be forwardly placed given the post relief. (4) WINDSUN GUNNER makes his second start on Lasix after a much better effort in his latest. McNair should have plenty of options off the car. (9) CALLSIGN ROOSTER showed some ability at Mohawk last year and has taken care of business to kick off his three-year-old campaign. The post may hamper him, however. Race 13: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $50,000 (OS $62,500) LIFETIME. AE: N/A $2,120 P/S IN 2025-26. (4) BORDERLINE MOBBY has picked up two decent checks in as many efforts in top level stakes and now faces an overnight group. This is a tightener between stakes which can sometimes be tricky to handicap, but I think this is a case where he just proves better than this field. (5) WINDOR makes his second start on Lasix and is another who is prepping between stakes. He might want to be activated in the early stages to potentially give himself a chance at a confidence booster. (8) ILLICIT BEHAVIOR was a good second last week and should have a chance at a big piece if he can find a live helmet. I think he shows more this week. (9) SCORPION SEELSTER finds himself with a capable catch driver and might end up blasting despite the poor draw. It’s been a tactic that has given him plenty of strong finishes as of late. (12) ODDS ON BULLFROG is more of a Grassroots type and looked like a major threat at this level three starts ago, but spoiled that with a miscue. He should be looking to pass horses late and find a way onto this mandatory payout Hi-5 ticket.
