HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Trainer Brendan Walsh said he hopes to come to a decision soon on a next start for the exciting Godolphin prospect Prevalence, who breezed an easy half-mile in 51.40 seconds early Saturday at the Palm Meadows training center in his first work since a flashy debut last month. Walsh was en route Monday morning from New Orleans to Florida when he said he needed a little more time to consider what is next for Prevalence, a 3-year-old Godolphin homebred by Medaglia d’Oro. The Fountain of Youth is an option, although Walsh has previously said an allowance is possible if available. :: Enhance your handicapping with DRF’s Gulfstream Park Clocker Report Prevalence earned an 89 Beyer Speed Figure in winning a seven-furlong maiden race by 8 1/2 lengths on the Jan. 23 Pegasus World Cup undercard.
