FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 141-42-34-14 / $237.90 (-$44.10) BEST BETS: 9-6-1-0 / $17.70 (-$.30) SPOT PLAYS: 10-1-3-4 / $3.80 (-$16.20) BEST BET: NAKED AND FAMOUS (3rd) SPOT PLAY: SOUTHWIND CHASKA (10th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Handicap Pace - Pick 5 (4) MUSCLE FACTORY A has missed some time but qualified back versus far superior foes that should have gotten him sharp as he chased them in a 1:51 mile. I’ll take a shot here versus a close-knit group. (5) WARRAWEE YANKEE was just even last time after sitting on the sidelines for a few weeks. He missed by just a head in his last MADC event. (3) WHAMMER JAMMER has a stellar recent record in these amateur races; worth using. (6) MASTER MIKI could be firing out for a trainer/driver who loves to show early zip. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO C&G Trot Silver division (4) NIX NACKEN got a little aggressive in a slow second quarter on a soaked track in leg one of this event. Talented 3-year-old drops to the Silver division and has no excuse not to crush these. (2) KING OF THE WIND rolled on the lead on that same rainy night and certainly deserves some consideration. (7) NORDIC DANCER S is another dropping out of the Platinum division and a better effort is very possible. Race 3: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO Filly Trot Platinum division - Pick 6 (1) NAKED AND FAMOUS rolled in the elimination round of the Oak Grove Oaks but was hopelessly boxed in and broke in the final. I won’t hold that one mistake against her. (6) ISABELLA BI raced conservatively last time but should be put in play this week to ensure a decent showing and a spot in the final. (3) MADAM CHEVAL is perfect in two starts but hardly a standout in this field. Race 4: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69.15 /NW 1 race in 2026 70.66) or less (3) WOODMERE LEAH put in a good try to be second last time and owns a win in this class five starts back. She’s the most likely winner but far from a lock. (7) PULL ME THROUGH and (6) LOVELY LADY MAY both shows some good miles in this class and the potential early speed to get into the race. Race 5: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,000) in last 5/YM 77.5 (NW L2 81.29) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm. (6) ROCK MY UNIVERSE returns to The Meadowlands in a much softer class but arrives with very sketchy form. New barn inspires confidence that a wake-up call is possible. (2) HOOFBEATS DE VIE lands in a great spot to hustle to the front and sit no worse than a pocket trip. (7) AIRMANS JACKPOT moves to the big track for the first time after consecutive breaks at Yonkers. Will she like it? Will she drop time? How much will she be overbet with Tetrick taking over? Race 6: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO Filly Trot Silver division - $50K GTD Pick 4 (1) NIGHTCAP MEARAS S has been just even in her races at Pocono, but did bleed in her last start and now adds Lasix. Maybe that is the cure to making her a winner. (7) RANI HANOVER has been able to keep up while unable to make a serious challenge thus far this year. She takes the big drop down from Platinum to Silver and if they are going to let her loose this seems like the spot. (5) R GEM picked up a victory in leg one of this series. Race 7: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Handicap Pace (10) SQUANKUM LADY hasn’t been able to hack it versus some decent 3-year-olds in some fast races. The outside post and facing older isn’t ideal but she should feel more at home versus these. (8) SEIZE CONTROL is a reasonably sharp horse moving into a live barn. (5) STAR X finds ways to lose every week ; using underneath only. (6) ALWAYS A WAY never saw the pylons and fought hard through the wire last week. (7) MEET THE CREEPER faces a softer group this time around for a barn that has been going better of late. Race 8: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO C&G Trot Platinum division - Pick 5 Many of the top five players on the Road to the Hambletonian are in this field and I’m going to side with (1) DIABOLIC HILL based on his excellent qualifiers and potential value with Dan Patch winner Apex in the field. (3) AMERICAN POWER has looked super in two starts this year and could be anything at this point. With the conditioning edge on the others and the likely much higher price, I wouldn’t fault anyone for rolling the dice. (11) APEX sprinted home impressively to capture his lone qualifier on the year. I’m sure he’s ready for a 1:51 mile but who knows what the trip will look like from the second tier. Race 9: Non-winners 2 (NW L3 3) races or $25,000 (NW 2L5 $30,250) life/Maidens draw inside (6) THISBEESTINGS DEO was third behind the best two New Jersey pacers last out and now drops into a much softer spot. You have to expect we’ll see early speed this week. Also likely to be firing out is (5) OBLITERATE to his inside. This one added Lasix and won the Silver final impressively last time; main danger. (2) CORVETTE STINGRAY went an improved mile last time and perhaps is finally moving in the right direction. Race 10: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO Filly Trot Platinum division - $50K GTD Pick 4 (2) SOUTHWIND CHASKA put in a credible qualifier and there is no reason she can’t drop the couple of seconds it will take to win this race. Note that she had one qualifier as a baby and dropped eight seconds to win her debut last year. (1) JAILBIRD JOG got a great setup and blew away the competition in the Oak Grove Oaks. That effort stamped her as a serious candidate at the top level. (5) LEADING LADY still lacks a smooth gait but you can’t fault her efforts. I won’t fault her too much for coming up short on a very wet track. (8) EMMAS MYSTERY CCL wasn’t going to win first-over as she seems to be a smaller horse that needs a trip. There is some ability here. Race 11: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO C&G Trot Silver division None of these really inspire confidence. (6) BEE POSITIVE has enough early speed to make the top and perhaps he’ll enjoy that spot. He is coming off a very good second behind a horse that would certainly be the one to beat if in this field. (4) NEVER SAY DIE hasn’t shown the desire to seal the deal this year but certainly ranks as a contender. (2) SKILLFUL TACTICS improved in his second qualifier and maybe another step forward is coming here. Race 12: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.19) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. (2) CALGARIAN went a nice, even mile last time versus faster foes than he faces tonight. He should be a bit tighter now with that start under his belt. (1) ALL TOO WELL has back-to-back seconds in this class; obvious contender. (4) LANDIA was trapped and finished up with some late trot last week. Race 13: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69.15 /NW 1 race in 2026 70.66) or less (1) TUAPEKA JESSIE N returns here at a reduced level and for a new trainer. I’ll take a shot with her in a blank field. (3) THANEEYA has the early speed to be in the right position. (6) JUST MY MAMA comes off an improved effort where she led and almost got the top dough. (5) KENTUCKY MOONSHINE gets an interesting driver change to Zeron. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 14: NJ Sire Stakes 3YO Filly Trot Silver division (1) WISHUPONASTAR DEO beat many of these last time at 1-5 and seems destined to repeat unless (6) RYAL PATTI, who is dropping out of the Platinum division, turns things around for new trainer Nifty Norman. (4) LAND OF QUEENS raced well behind the top pick in her 2026 debut. Race 15: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,630) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.55) or less (8) HERS HUNGRY raced well in her first start of the year and any small step forward should result in a win versus this group. (3) GOING AWAY and (2) ALWAYSWITHYOU finished a neck apart at the wire last week; both are threats on there best. (9) REMI LOU A has climbed the ladder successfully each of the last three weeks but may’ve found a level too high now.
