CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 113-36-25-10 / $196.90 (-$29.10) BEST BETS: 7-5-1-0 / $13.90 (-$.10) SPOT PLAYS: 8-1-3-3 / $3.80 (-$12.20) BEST BET: GRACIOUS (11th) SPOT PLAY: PALOMAR (8th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5 (2) STAR X has been knocking at the door lately and tonight gets an inside post to help the cause. If he can’t get the job done tonight then I give up. (3) LAZARULS was better with Lasix added and we know he’ll be hustling off the gate. (1) CHEESE OMELET fired out the last time he had pylon position so don’t be surprised if those tactics are used again. (4) URBAN RENEWAL completes the early speed quartet from the inside of the gate. He’ll likely need to find a new way to race well this week. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 (NW L2 $30,000) life/Maidens draw inside (5) ULTIMATE BETRAYAL took a shot first over in his seasonal debut and weakened some in the stretch. He moves in on the gate just enough to hopefully have him in a better position to succeed. (4) BIG BOYS DON’T CRY put in a solid mile in his first start of the year and if he steps forward even a touch he’ll have a good win chance. (6) KICKAN raced well on the off track last time and perhaps that’s a sign of improving form. Race 3: Non-winners $10,500 (NW L2 $12,500) in last 5) or in 2025/TM 86 (NW L2 88) or less - Pick 6 (2) CHAPERCRAZ was placed in an ambitious spot a couple of weeks ago and had his head handed to him. While he tackles a fairly sharp group here, they should be more to his liking. (6) ROCKET MAN HILL does his best work when he can wait and make one serious bid. That opportunity should exist in this short field. (3) CAMERA MAN is very fast off the gate and should be cutting the mile or sitting the pocket. A win is not out of the question. Race 4: F&M Trackmaster Rating 68 or less ATOD. Winner this class last start NE; AE Not 1,2,3 this class last start. (3) LADYZAR took a shot at the front last week and that could be a sign that she’s rounding back into form. Driver change to Tetrick here could be the missing link. (2) WISHES FOR ASHLEE and (1) HELEN BACK AGAIN are both stepping back down the Trackmaster ladder to a level where they put up wins two starts back. (6) JOB CRUNCH slots into the field off the AE list and is certainly comfortable in this class when on her game. Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (8) SEEYOU AT THEBEACH looks awful in terms of form but takes a HUGE drop in class this week and almost has to awaken; expecting early speed. (6) BLUE COLLAR MAN simply went too fast on the engine last time and that sealed his fate. A better steer can result in a much better result. (4) KNASTY KNUCKLES has some stretch issues to deal with last time. He moves inside on the gate a bit and has a chance to get into the number. Race 6: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.55) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. - $50K GTD Pick 4 (6) BIG NUDGE gets a catch driver back in the bike and finds a field with plenty of early speed to set him up from behind. (5) MISTER BOINGA hasn’t been here since the end of 2024. Perhaps his early speed will play better here or maybe we’ll see different tactics on the bigger track. (2) MASSTER BLUE has been racing well for some time now and seems like a must use on the bottom of the exotics. (8) MELISSA P is comfortable in this class and only needs a decent trip to be a contender. Race 7: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,651) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW 2L4 83.01) or less (9) HARD SEVEN clearly didn’t enjoy his stay on the smaller track at Yonkers as evidenced by the breaks. He owns a 1:53 3/5 win over this track and some clean lines on the five-eighths. I’ll take a shot. (6) CALL OPTION gets major class relief this week and if he actually behaves they’ll have their hands full beating him. (1) HOOFBEATS DE VIE has early speed and pylon position. He’s not as fast as the top pair but certainly can get minor exotic pieces. Race 8: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) Series/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - Pick 5 After a number of dull efforts, (1) PALOMAR finally provided an indicator of return to form with a 27 3/5 final quarter on the end of a 1:53 mile. Anything close to his best would prove too much for this field. (9) OLLIE’S Z TAM drops his claiming price tonight. Veteran is sent out by a barn that has picked up a couple of wins in its last handful of starts. (8) LEAR SEELSTER has been chasing in some faster miles lately; also drops this week. (11) KNOCKIN OUT was used hard in this TM71 class and couldn’t sustain. How will he navigate the second tier? Race 9: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. (3) BLUE POINT faced tougher from an outside post when last here two starts back. She lands inside now and is versatile enough to work out a winning trip regardless of tactics or pace scenario. (2) COCCO PUFF POWER gets clear class relief back to the level of her last win on May 8 here. (8) DREAM PILLAR comes out of that common race and missed a head to #2. Last week she ran into the super-sharp Remi Lou. Race 10: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) Series/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - $50K GTD Pick 4 (7) ALL TOO WELL is feeling good right now but last time was the victim of a slow pace and couldn’t quite get up at the wire despite a 27 4/5 final quarter. He should be hustling away from the gate here. (1) NICCOLO was in against tough competition in the Game of Claims at Pocono. He’s raced ok in this class previously. (2) JAKEY JUMPUP arrived here last week and was a good this in the same race as the top pick; seems capable. Race 11: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 (NW L2 $30,000) life/NW3 draw outside/Maidens draw inside (6) GRACIOUS sat last and rallied nicely (26 3/5) with no chance of getting a decent check upon arrival here last weekend. She dropped three seconds off her 2026 debut mile at Philly and should be ready to uncork a big mile now. (2) ON HEIR rode live cover and hung late last time out. I can see giving her one more shot. (1) STING GIRL advanced on the turn last week and that showed some maturity on her part. If she’s got it all figured out now than she’ll be a major player in here. Race 12: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.05) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. (8) PEARL HARBOUR N made the front without issue but was shuffled back to the four hole and her late rally wasn’t close to enough. Here’s hoping her early move make her to the of the leavers to the front so she can parlay her good form into a win. (1) DIVIDED WE FALL has found her form in recent weeks and seems ready for the class hike. (5) PINK LUMIERE has only missed the board once in 2026 but often goes off at an underlay price. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,100) in last 5/TM 77.5 (NW L2 80.34) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm. (4) LASTCHANCEFORLOVE raced well to be third two starts back but couldn’t handle the overland trip last time. She should have every opportunity to fire out and set the pace tonight. (5) GOING AWAY was a solid winner when last in this class and the short field should allow her to race from behind without having to pass too many horses. (1) SWIFT SARABI and (6) HOUSE BLEND are both down in class (like many in here) and have displayed good miles in the NW2500 condition. Race 14: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less (6) SAND SNIPER gets an interesting driver change after going a fast half and paying the price versus a strong TM68 field; early speed again. (3) CAPTAIN CARTER was just fourth last time while facing an overall better field. He should be firing out again and land in a decent spot. (1) THE BIG RAGOO has a chance to hold his ground from the cones and shake free for a big piece in a field without a clear standout.
