CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 84-29-19-5 / $158.20 (-$9.80) BEST BETS: 5-3-1-0 / $8.10 (-$1.90) SPOT PLAYS: 6-1-3-1 / $3.80 (-$8.20) BEST BET: REMI LOU A (9th) SPOT PLAY: PREMIER MAYFLOWER (3rd) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5 (9) CRUNCHY drops back into the amateur ranks and when last seen in that condition he got the job done despite post nine. This field seems to lack an abundance of early zip and Hernandez will almost certainly be firing out. (3) FRAZIER HANOVER has been a bit flat of late but certainly lands in a great spot. (6) MARSHALL ZHUKOV does own a bit of early speed himself and could be put in play. (2) PALOMAR would crush with his best effort, but we haven’t seen one of those in a while. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,000) in last 5/TM 77.5 (NW L2 79.5) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm. (4) REMARKABLE DE VIE looked super rolling past the field two starts back but caught an unbeatable foe last time and was relegated to a small check. Veteran can do much more versus this group. (3) GILLYS DE VIE has been keeping up in better fields and he’s always a good price. (5) MASSTER BLUE is the one certified sharp horse in the group and you have to love his early speed. (6) TACHYON comes out of the same race as the top pick and was closer to the pace while taking a shot on the rim. I wouldn’t toss him out. Race 3: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2/2L4 73.05/73.19) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - Pick 6 (5) PREMIER MAYFLOWER ships in from Tioga but gets some clear class relief in the process. Four-year-old wasn’t bad in his debut for new connections and should fit nicely in here. (6) PINK LUMIERE is the horse to beat with a quick glance but also a mare that hasn’t won in six weeks. (8) PEARL HARBOUR N was blindswitched on the final turn and finished up nicely last time. He can get a nice piece here. (2) HOLD MY TIARA caught a very sharp foe last time and kept up reasonably well. Still, an 18-0-0-1 record in 2026 is hard to embrace. Race 4: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70) or less (1) SCANDIA HANNIBAL comes out of a much tougher TM68 and prior to that got hung out. This is an ideal spot to finally pick up his first win of the year. (5) SOCIAL THEORIES wasn’t bad in his debut for the Lauer barn after missing 33 days of action. It’s been a long time between wins for this guy but I expect him to race well tonight. (4) AROLNDAHAYBLUECHIP finished a few lengths ahead of the top pick last week and that alone gives him credibility. Still, he’s unreliable on the win end. Race 5: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less This race represents the bottom of the barrel in terms of condition and talent. That also means none of these have much form to cling to when handicapping. (1) BABY DOLL JEN gets the default call on the hopes that Borjas will keep her close from the cones. She has a win this year, which is more than I can say about everyone except (4) BEE AWARE, who picked up that score a few starts back in wire-to-wire fashion. This looks like the right spot to try that again. (6) SWEET TALKIN GYPSY displayed a hint of late life in last and wasn’t bad two back either; worth Pick 5 consideration. Race 6: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - $50K GTD Pick 4 (3) JONAH was absolutely loaded late in the mile last Friday and while he’s my clear top pick, I’m very cognizant that he’s failed as the favorite or close to it many times this year. (6) ALWAYS A WAY looks to be a decent trip away from a victory. That said, 45 career seconds and thirds versus 13 wins is very telling. (5) URBAN RENEWAL should fire off the gate and get a good piece of the exotics. Race 7: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,300) in last 5/TM 83.5 (NW L2 85.6) or less (1) FOR JULY comes off what looks like an average qualifier at best but it’s more than enough for him to drop two seconds and take care of business in this overnight affair if he can find the talent he displayed in his younger days. (4) YANK MY HALO should be firing out in this spot and has a big shot if the top pick doesn’t bring his A game. (6) CALDERONE is so sharp now. He had no chance of beating class-dropper Interview Fra last time. (5) CAMERA MAN was less than a length behind #4 last time and we know he owns early speed. Race 8: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - Pick 5 (2) ALL TOO WELL dropped five seconds on the switch to the big track and that should have him ready to win. (6) MR GRANT was stuck in post 10 and hopelessly trapped in the stretch last week. Notice that he won in this class two starts back. (3) MR INSTIGATOR has been versatile and somewhat successful in this class recently; barn change. (1) DONATOVER is unreliable but capable. Race 9: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. (3) REMI LOU A has become an unstoppable force since entering the Bongiorno barn and I see no reason to stop riding the wave. (2) TWO BEAN DREAM has been awful out of town but seems to enjoy the clean New Jersey air. She was an easy winner as the chalk in this class two starts back. (2) DREAM PILLAR was much better in her second start back from a mini vacation. Race 10: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 life/Maidens draw inside - $50K GTD Pick 4 (7) ULTIMATE BETRAYAL was loaded with trot late in his debut qualifier and was well within himself last time versus one of the early Hambletonian favorites. While he’s likely going to need some luck in terms of pace, this barn sends them out ready and this guy seems to have some go. (3) CROSSOVER went a good mile in her debut but does tackles some boys here. (4) TINDRA CASH S blew out a nice qualifier at Philly and if she drops time moving to the mile surface she’ll be tough. (1) BIG BOYS DON’T CRY was second behind stakes winner Ardonne in his May 15 qualifier. Walner colt may be improving. Race 11: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less (2) DIVIDED WE FALL barely saw the pylons, was wide down the backstretch and into the lane, and still rallied for second last time. She would be a lock in the other division but gets a narrower call in this split. (1) JOB CRUNCH drops a level on the Trackmaster scale and missed by just a neck in his last appearance in the class. (8) ALMOST KAREN is another class-dropper in the field. She has some early speed if needed to be involved. Race 12: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,630) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.55) or less (3) LASTCHANCEFORLOVE caught a stakes caliber 3-year-old last week and was only able to get third in this condition. That was just her first start for new trainer Noel Daley and don’t be surprised if she shows even more this week. (7) TWIN B SUNKISSED gets some real class relief and should turn around her form in a hurry. (1) GOING AWAY is capable but trip dependent. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 life (2) ON HEIR caught Miki And Minnie in her last qualifier and then had to debut against the sharpest 3-year-old filly in Darlins Angel. This looks like a great spot for the daughter of Captaintreacherous to shine. (8) FABULOUS HANOVER also chased Miki And Minnie in a recent qualifier and she’s another Captaintreacherous filly. This barn tends to send them out ready and is off to a great start with a 16-4-5-2 record. (4) HUNTING MEMORIES wasn’t quite as good with the lights on as she was in the morning; worth another shot. Race 14: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less (3) WOODMERE LEAH wasn’t going very far from post nine last time. She moves inside tonight and catches a sour group. (6) RONA MAE was used hard to be third last time; clear threat. (4) OAHU is like a black hole where win money goes to die. In theory she could win, but we’ve said that many times before. (1) EA MUSHU does her best work in this class from inside posts.
