CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 56-16-15-3 / $99.10 (-$12.90) BEST BETS: 3-2-0-0 / $6.00 (-$2.00) SPOT PLAYS: 4-0-2-1 / $0.00 (-$8.00) BEST BET: REMI LOU A (11th) SPOT PLAY: STAR X (5th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5 (3) FRAZIER HANOVER seems to have landed in the right spot this week from the right post. Silva just needs to get a bit of pace help to set him up. (5) HASHTAG MONEY is a horse I’m starting to lose confidence in, but he should get a pretty easy lead tonight and does get Beltrami back. (8) CATNAP is an amateur newcomer with form on her side. I could take a positive view. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,300 life/Maidens draw inside (2) MEGA SHARK was a very good second in his return from winter vacation and he would’ve won if not for interference as he was loaded with late trot. (6) KING OF THE WIND has won two of his last three at Pocono and would be a serious win candidate if he drops speed on the big track. (7) SEVEN GRAND was in a qualifier versus a really nice foe. Barn has been firing fresh since returning May 1 and this guy certainly has the early speed to make some noise. Race 3: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 life/Maidens draw inside - Pick 6 (2) HUNTING MEMORIES posted some sizzling fractions in her last qualifier and came up second best behind Miki And Minnie. She makes her debut here for a new barn and if she can repeat the morning performance this field could be in trouble. (5) STING GIRL doesn’t seem to handle the turns very well but boy can she motor in the straightaways; needs proper setup. (4) TAN LINES HANOVER was simply overmatched in her last qualifier but could be helped by chasing that kind of speed; needs best. Race 4: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. (6) DONATOVER has turned in two nice efforts since arriving in this barn. Eleven-year-old moves back to the big track and could find early speed. (1) BRICCO is going to put it all together sooner or later; Dunn driving helps tonight. (3) ALL TOO WELL comes off a confidence builder in the amateur races at Yonkers. Those shippers have done pretty well here. (2) C KAN TROT, but can he win? Form isn’t bad. Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (5) STAR X was handled conservatively last week and finished up the mile with a solid 27 3/5 final quarter. He moves to the middle of the gate and seems likely to be put I play. (3) FERDINAND A is racing as well as he has in some time. You know the plan – speed! (6) HOMESTEAD HISTORY certainly improved in his second start back from a long vacation; even more now? Race 6: Non-winners $15,000 in last 5/TM 89 (NW 2L4 91) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (3) MIRACLE MAVEN makes her 2026 debut for a new trainer as she joins the Burke barn. Four-year-old was an original $8,500 yearling purchase that has made over $530K! Return qualifiers were good and she could have an edge on horses that may take a more patient approach to start their seasons. (7) BRAVO ANGEL S has won three straight and I have to think she’ll be put in play off the gate tonight. (5) MR MOUTON owns the most raw speed in this field. Is he ready to fire a big shot tonight? Race 7: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,651) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.77) or less (6) INTERVIEW FRA A stayed trotting last week but was the victim of an insanely slow 58 half. He gets major class relief tonight and could find some early zip off the gate. (2) SOUTHWIND MAC is on a major roll in terms of getting big checks and there is no reason to believe he won’t be in contention once again. (5) CALDERONE is another who catches a softer field and he’d be no surprise on the win end. Race 8: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,630) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW 2L4 83.52) or less - Pick 5 (7) BLOOD MOON A picked up a win in his return qualifier and you have to like that she returns in a class where she’s very comfortable. (5) LASTCHANCEFORLOVE comes off two races from outside posts at Pocono and now moves into the Daley barn. It’s a bit of a mystery what we might get but I respect her chances. (9) BAHAMA MOMMA took on some salty competition in her 3-year-old debut. She’s more talented than these but may not be on full GO from the outside post in just start two this year. (2) MIKI IN LUV went the mile of her life last weekend. Can she repeat it? I wouldn’t take a short price to find out. Race 9: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 life/Maidens draw inside (2) NIGHT FRENCH GIRL hinted at ability last year despite failing to win. This barn sends them out ready if they have the power to win. (3) NAACHTUN was second best in her seasonal debut and can certainly improve on that performance tonight. (5) NEXT BIG THINK was kept under a hold and never let out in the stretch during her lone qualifier. I’m not quite sure yet whether that means she could’ve done much more or the driver didn’t want to risk a miscue. Race 10: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.50) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (8) MELISSA P comes off an easy win at Pocono and there doesn’t seem to be much gate speed to her inside to prevent similar tactics. (4) BIG NUDGE wasn’t loaded with trot but clearly has something left while stuck in traffic last time. Prior to that he won easily while down in class. He’s as good or better than most of these but switches to an amateur driver. (1) FASHION FOREVER showed up with his best effort in a while last weekend. Race 11: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.05) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. (4) REMI LOU A took the money and uncorked a huge mile to win by open lengths last Friday. The step up in condition is irrelevant if she can reproduce that effort. (7) PINK LUMIERE has been good all year and is clearly at a winning level. That said, she hasn’t been seen in four weeks. (8) PEARL HARBOUR N elected for an off-the-pace journey last out and didn’t get involved. Will she revert to early speed here? Race 12: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less (6) HELEN BACK AGAIN should make the front without any issues. I’ll give her the weak call in a field with little form and many potential winners. (3) OAHU adds Lasix this time around. Is that the magic potion that finally gets her over the top after so many near misses? (5) GIRL ALMIGHTY had pace at both ends of the mile last week; contender. (1) COUNTESS MARA gets some major post relief. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,300) in last 5 or 5 (NW L2 7) races or $32,500 life/TM 83.5 (NW L2 85.67) or less (5) MONSERRATE didn’t seem to get along with the track at Oak Grove and now returns to the site of his strong April 18 qualifier. Lasix is back on and I’ll take the price and hope he brings his best effort. (4) BOURBONISTA S returned from a brief break with a sharp win and is certainly a threat to go back to back. (8) CAMERA MAN came off some ho-hum qualifiers but brought his ‘A’ game with a powerful victory. Ignore him at your own risk. Race 14: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,100) in last 5/TM 77.5 (NW L2 79.70) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm. (9) FITNESS FIRST was perfect at Mohawk before running into the best 3-year-old filly in PA right now in Miss Jum Jabber last time. She has plenty of foundation and should be moving forward off the gate. (10) MIDNIGHT MAGIC double drops in class and seems likely to bring early speed to the track as well. (5) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL is back on the big track and very capable; Dunn drives! (2) HOBBY GONE CRAZY wasn’t bad when last here; gets an exotic position of some kind.
