Kentucky Derby: Who's hot, who's not for March 6, 2019

WHO’S HOT
Haikal, Roadster, and Win Win Win are the three newcomers to this week’s Derby Watch top 20. Roadster made the biggest impact, with a sharp allowance win at Santa Anita following a lengthy layoff. He is 20-1 on the line set by Mike Watchmaker, Daily Racing Form’s national handicapper. Haikal and Win Win Win will be in action Saturday and will have to perform well to avoid being removed. Win Win Win, who runs in the Tampa Bay Derby, is 30-1 on Watchmaker’s line, while Haikal, who goes in the Gotham at Aqueduct, is 50-1. Code of Honor, the Fountain of Youth winner, is down to 12-1 after being 30-1 a week ago, and Fountain of Youth runner-up Bourbon War tumbled to 15-1 from 40-1.
WHO’S NOT
Global Campaign was removed from the list owing to injury, Mucho because he’s off the Derby trail, and Signalman because his performance in the Fountain of Youth was not encouraging enough to hold a spot on the list for five weeks until his next start. Hidden Scroll, fourth as the favorite in the Fountain of Youth, is up to 15-1 on Watchmaker’s line after being the third choice at 8-1 a week ago.

ON THE BUBBLE
Anothertwistafate, who is awaiting the Sunland Derby, and Well Defined, who runs in the Tampa Bay Derby, just missed the cut this week. The Gotham and even the Jeff Ruby, also Saturday, could produce newcomers.
