A Louisiana lawmaker on Monday withdrew a bill that would have diverted $36 million from purse subsidies to a popular scholarship program.
A new racing week begins at Santa Anita on Thursday with a carryover of $136,859 in the single ticket jackpot pool of the $2 pick six.
