How to bet $250K guaranteed Ruthless Stakes Aqueduct Pick 4
Here's my race-by-race rundown of Saturday's Guaranteed $250K Pick 4 at Aqueduct. I'm building my wager with TicketMaker, found exclusively on DRF.com.
Race 6 (Claim $7,500)
RAYNICK'S JET comes off a decent 4th for $17,500 and now comes a critical multiple-level drop for the high percentage Rodriguez barn and Dominguez sees fit to ride. BOJAN appears a timely claim for Rice. The 5yo dueled and finished 3rd behind win machine Callmetony on the big track here Nov. 18, was claimed, and he came right back to gamely prevail for this price here Dec. 30. (2)
Race 7 (The Ruthless $75,000)
Tough race. AGAVE KISS laughed at her foes in her first 2 starts. She faces tougher but has worked well since and the way she won those 2 races hints there’s plenty more in the tank. PERENNIAL SONG has done nothing wrong in her first 3 starts and makes her first start since a good 2nd in the Grade 3 Tempted at Belmont Oct. 2. CORDEROSA came out smokin' as she blasted maidens in her debut here Dec. 18 and got a big Beyer to boot (83). WELL KEPT dueled and just missed when 2nd beaten a nose in the Pandera here Dec. 7. She’s come back with a bullet. BETTER LUCKY, like CORDEROSA, came out firing as she also romped in her debut and is bred to have talent. DANCE TO BRISTOL won the aforementioned Pandera by a lip over WELL KEPT. She’s won 2 of 5 and her 3 losses came by a nose, neck and half-length. (6)
Race 8 (Optional Claimer $25,000)
ITSAGOODTENDOLLARS has been knocking on the door and comes off 2 near-misses including a 2nd beaten a neck on this track at this trip at this level Dec. 3. Galluscio saw fit to claim him, is a super 23 percent off a claim and continues his superb meet (11 for first 32, 34 percent). BIGGER IS BETTOR ran 3rd nearly 3 lengths behind the top pick in that Dec. 3 race. This NY-bred SW figures to be coming in the lane. IRON LOU has blossomed of late and steps up in class off the claim. He may be this good. TAKE A WALK continues his good form and a repeat of his last, where he ran 2nd for a 92 Beyer would make him dangerous. (4)
Race 9 (Maiden Special Weight $50,000)
PANTHRO is the one to beat off a fine 3rd at Gulfstream Dec. 24 when he received an 86 Beyer. If he brings that form here, the others are running for 2nd. OFFICERNADFOOSE is trending the right way and comes off a smart 2nd on this track at this level Dec. 17. Dominguez rides and any move forward makes him scary. QUIET EYES was eliminated at the start in his debut here Dec. 17 but kept to his task well. He can benefit from that outing and boasts 2 big bullet works since. SHY HUMOR invade from SoCal where he showed talent and last time chased home Out of Bounds, who came back to win the Grade 3 Sham at Santa Anita last week. (4)
