NEW NORMAL (Forestry - New Economy, by Red Ransom) Trainer: Mark Frostad Foaled April 11, 2008 in Kentucky...$125,000 RNA as a yearling (Keeneland, September 2009)...Half-sister to stakes-placed router DISTORTED ECONOMY (11-1-3-2, $176,340, 0-5 on turf)...Sire was a Grade 1 sprint winner (11-7-1-2, $591,225, unraced on turf)...Dam was a Grade 2 winner on turf (21-6-3-2, $442.118, 5-19 on turf)...Female family of Grade 1 winner MEHMET (24-9-5-2, $718,015)...Beat back several challenges when a gate-to-wire winner of the Grade 3 Natalma at Woodbine on September 18. The Natalma was over a second faster than the Summer Stakes for colts at a mile at Woodbine that afternoon...Has been given plenty of time to recover from that good effort, but may face more pressure in her first start around two turns. Seems very sharp.
