PHOENIX – Beyond Awesome looms an overwhelming favorite, as the 2-year-old daughter of Boos heads Saturday’s $77,685 Turf Paradise Spring Futurity, which brings down the curtain on the 125-day Turf Paradise meet. The filly tops a field of nine 2-year-olds going 5 furlongs. The Futurity goes as race 5 on an 8-race program. Owned by Jeremy Ramsland and trained by Justin Evans, the Beyond Awesome dazzled in her debut here April 13, blasting out to a clear early lead and romping home by nine lengths. Her Beyer from that win (39) towers over what her rivals have so far accomplished. Luis Negron was up that day and keeps the call. :: Want the best bonus in racing? Natural Immunity and Scatalicious, a well-beaten second and third behind Beyond Awesome in their April 13 trial, could pose threats with improvement.
