The trustees of the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame unanimously endorsed the election of Bea Farber, Morton Finder, Jenna’s Beach Boy, Kikikatie, Naughty But Nice, Ralph Hanover and Rum Customer as harness racing Immortals. On Sunday, July 5, 2026, these individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Immortals.

Trainer Dick Cappellucci has been on a roll and will attempt to keep his hot hand going Monday when he saddles Caprock Cutie in the $80,000 La Senora at Sunland Park. The race for 3-year-old fillies at six furlongs is one of two New Mexico-bred stakes on the card. The $80,000 Corralito Steak House will be run at the same distance for 3-year-olds.

The connections of the 5-year-old mare Lotsandlotsofcandy were willing to try their horse on turf last weekend in the Nelson Menard Memorial but did not at all mind the Menard getting rained off grass. That made Lotsandlotsofcandy an odds-on favorite, and she ran her career record to 6-4-1-0 while annexing her stakes debut by 4 1/2 lengths and earning a career-best 96 Beyer Speed Figure.

Trainer Steve Asmussen has been winning the Riley Allison at Sunland Park since it was a race for 2-year-olds. He's kept on winning it since it was reshaped into a 3-year-old prep for the Sunland Park Derby, and on Sunday will attempt to win a ninth Riley Allison when he saddles Way Beyond.

Magnitude, one of the more interesting older dirt-route horses in North America, remains on course to leave North America for his 4-year-old debut. Magnitude's connections secured a spot in the $20 million Saudi Cup on Feb. 14 at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh and Magnitude has so far hit every mark preparing for the race.

Mrs. Astor is nearing the end of her career, which has bloomed with five stakes wins in the last 14 months. A 6-year-old mare, Mrs. Astor will be heavily favored to win Monday's $100,000 Astra Stakes at 1 1/2 miles on turf for fillies and mares at Santa Anita. Whether she races again in coming months was unclear on Friday.
