Last Saturday at Gulfstream Park, the 7-year-olds Skippylongstocking, White Abarrio, and Full Serrano swept the first three positions in the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park. On Saturday at Santa Anita, Midnight Mammoth, also a 7-year-old, can win his first stakes since the summer of 2024 in the Grade 2 San Pasqual Stakes at 1 1/8 miles on dirt.

Alpyland and Sister Troienne will look to add to significant winning streaks Saturday when they run in $175,000 turf stakes for 3-year-olds at Gulfstream Park. Alpyland has reeled off three consecutive victories and now stretches out to 1 1/16 miles in the $175,000 Kitten's Joy Stakes for males. Sister Troienne will seek her fifth straight victory in the $175,000 Sweetest Chant.

Trainer Michael Stidham is going to do his best to keep stakes winners Tom's Magic and Montador apart this year. With Montador pointing to the Fair Grounds Stakes on Feb. 14, Stidham has opted to ship newly turned 4-year-old Tom's Magic to Florida for Saturday's Grade 3, $175,000 Tampa Bay Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs.
