Finding favorites to bet on in harness racing is a rather simple task. But if you’re interested in looking for longshots you have to dig deep and sometimes think outside of the box.

Miss E Bar fueled and prevailed for a neck win over Tea Light in the $85,000 La Senora at Sunland Park on Sunday. It was another 1 1/4 lengths back in third to Muy Rapido.
The strategy session regarding Warren’s Veneda’s tactics in Sunday’s $92,500 Paseana Stakes at Santa Anita was unresolved when the field left the paddock.

The first stakes win and first win of Calculator’s career in Saturday’s $100,750 Sham Stakes at Santa Anita has left trainer Peter Miller debating how quickly to plan another start for the highly regarded 3-year-old.

CALCULATOR entered the race as a maiden, but his credentials from last year caused him to be favored at 3-5 against seven rivals, and he thoroughly dominated them in his first start since September.
I'm fascinated by two horses that could wind up as overlays in the win pool. If the betting goes as expected, I will play both to win, and key them in exotics. I'm also slightly interested in a couple of longshots. While my opinion of these horses isn't as strong, I'll lightly stab at them.
