Remington Park in Oklahoma City announced that all overnight purses will be increased 10 percent for the meet that opens next Friday. The 67-date season runs through Dec. 13.

Foiled Again, the seemingly ageless harness racing legend, will take the track once again Saturday afternoon for the United States Pacing Championship at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, NJ. Harness racing’s richest horse will start from post nine looking to add the winner’s share of the $215,400 purse to the $7 million that he has already earned for his owners.
The Massachusetts Racing Commission on Thursday approved three live race dates at Suffolk Downs in September and October of this year, settling an issue, at least momentarily, that has divided horsemen in the state.
