We’ve now crossed into the portion of the summer when the top barns on the circuit will begin to unveil their most talented 2-year-olds. While there are some decent runners with experience, including Odie and Gump, this appears to be a race that features some live first-time starters.

With reigning sprint champion Roy H having just returned to training, the West Coast sprint division was a bit puzzling.
Spring Folly (#3) and Cumbria (#7) finished second and third last time behind Goodbye Brockley, who will seek to win a stakes later on this card. I’ll use them, but I want to take a shot against this pair with the 3-year-old PURELY LUCKY (#1).
What a busy week of sports between the World Cup, Royal Ascot, and the usual slate of American racing. I’m going to try to close it out on an up note by hitting a pick three at Belmont.
