ALBANY, Calif. - Yougottawanna first caught the public's eye when he defeated Officer in the Cal Cup Juvenile last October.
He moved into the Derby picture Saturday, defeating Officer's stablemate, Danthebluegrassman, by three-quarters of a length to win the El Camino Real Derby at Golden Gate Fields.
Yougottawanna ($17.80) was seventh early well off the pace set by Captain Squire as Danthebluegrassman rated just off the pace in second.
