City Sharpster ($8.40) drew off to an 8 3/4-length victory in the $100,000 Larry Riviello President's Cup, covering a mile and 70 yards in 1:42. Saratoga Blues, the even-money favorite, was eased and finished last in the field of five 3-year-olds.
On the undercard, Night Caller ($19) upset the $75,000 Donald LeVine Memorial for older sprinters, and Betty's Hat ($3.80) captured the $50,000 Pistol Packer Handicap for statebred fillies and mares.
ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Zone Judge scored his first stakes victory in Saturday's Grade 3, $173,100 Play the King Handicap.
Trained by Dave Dwyer, Zone Judge was taken back off the early pace by jockey Constant Montpellier, swung to the outside after being blocked entering the stretch, and rallied for a two-length victory.
Zone Judge ($18.10) completed the seven furlongs on firm turf in a rapid 1:20.42, outfinishing Waltzin' Storm, part of an entry that went off as the even-money favorite.
MIAMI - In a virtual rematch of the Exclusive Praline Handicap two months ago, Tour of the Cat outgamed Built Up for a half-length victory in the $75,000 Groomstick Handicap. Tour of the Cat's final time of 1:15.99 for 6 1/2 furlongs set a track record.
Tour of the Cat set a pressured pace and readily disposed of early challenger Ballado's Devil leaving the turn, but was then engaged by Built Up. Tour of the Cat and Built Up raced as a team through the final furlong, with Tour of the Cat edging free in the closing strides.
OCEANPORT, N.J. - Magic Storm, the longest shot in the five-horse field, won the Grade 2, $250,000 Monmouth Breeders' Cup Oaks by a half-length over 7-10 favorite Alternate.
With Sixtyone Margaux and Bronze Autumn setting moderate fractions on the lead, Magic Storm stalked the pace alongside Seba, with Alternate sitting five lengths off the pacesetters. Turning for home, Magic Storm was near the back of the pack and looked out of the race. But jockey Eddie King took Magic Storm to the outside at the eighth pole, and she surged through to victory.
DEL MAR, Calif. - Inesperado maintained his unbeaten record in the United States with a victory in Saturday's $150,000 La Jolla Handicap at Del Mar.
Inesperado ($6.40) ran 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:43.92 with an ideal trip under jockey Eddie Delahoussaye. Inesperado stalked pacesetter Regiment through a slow pace of 25.16 and 50.87 seconds. Delahoussaye urged Inesperado into a challenging position on the final turn, took the lead in early stretch, and won by two lengths over Regiment, the even-money favorite.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Farda Amiga, unraced since upsetting the Kentucky Oaks at 20-1 on May 3, overcame a cross-country ship, a 106-day layoff, and a wet racetrack to win Saturday's Grade 1, $750,000 Alabama Stakes at Saratoga.
Under Pat Day, Farda Amiga rallied from well off the pace and wide to run down pacesetting Allamerican Bertie by three-quarters of a length. It was 2 3/4 lengths back to 8-5 favorite You in third.

DEL MAR, Calif. - Disturbingthepeace became the first horse since 1991 to sweep Del Mar's major stakes races for sprinters with a hard-fought victory over Hot Market in Sunday's $150,000 Pat O'Brien Handicap.
The victory was the sixth straight for Disturbingthepeace, who has steadily progressed from a California-bred allowance sprinter to the West's best around one turn. But the 3-5 favorite gave his backers, and trainer Darrell Vienna, some anxious moments, because Hot Market would not go quietly.
OCEANPORT, N.J. - With a satellite stable at Monmouth for the first time this summer, New York trainer Mark Hennig sent Cat's at Home here to start his 5-year-old campaign with an eye on the Grade 2 Iselin Handicap as a long-term goal for the multiple Grade 3 winner.
With three starts over the racetrack leading up to the $350,000 Iselin at Monmouth Sunday, 10-1 Cat's at Home proved his affinity for Monmouth with a wire-to-wire victory by three-quarters of a length over second-choice Bowman's Band. Runspastum was a neck back of Bowman's Band in third.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Trainer Jimmy Toner said it's premature to put Wonder Again in the same class as Soaring Softly and Memories of Silver, two wonderful turf fillies he trained during the 1990's. But after Wonder Again's 2 1/4-length win in Sunday's $150,000 Lake Placid Handicap at Saratoga, Toner can't help but wonder if he's got another star in his barn.
"She's coming along at a pretty good clip," Toner said in the winner's circle after Wonder Again's stakes debut in the Grade 2 Lake Placid.
