Peace River Lady is home

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - One thing is clear: Peace River Lady likes the Churchill Downs turf course.

When Peace River Lady raced twice in a 17-day span here in the spring, she ran two of the best races of her career, winning maiden and entry-level allowance races on May 10 and 26. She returned in June to run second over the course in the Grade 3 Regret.

So when a full field of fillies and mares go postward in Monday's feature at Churchill, horesplayers will certainly be aware of how well Peace River Lady performed six months ago.
