Oratorio out of Juddmonte

Oratorio, who upset the Epsom Derby winner, Motivator, in the Eclipse Stakes on July 2, will miss his intended date in the Juddmonte International Stakes because of an unspecified injury.

His trainer, Aidan O'Brien, said that Oratorio had emerged from his Eclipse triumph suffering from stiffness. His work program has been interrupted, and so he will bypass the 1 1/4-mile and 88-yard Juddmonte International, a Group 1 event on Aug. 16 at York.
