May the Easter Bunny deposit many lucky eggs into your basket. We had an early visit from Mr. Rabbit last week as Queen Laila came home promptly as one of our Pix at a surprisingly short five bucks (the other one was basically left at the gate). What was really nice was that the following race resulted in a nice BreezeFigs exacta. Those two wins at Santa Anita were among the 11 that were racked up by BreezeFigs maidens during the week.

She cut back to one turn for the $150,000 Carousel and booked it up the rail to catch a loose-on-the-lead runner. Illussion Artist, who showed a great deal of determination, could be closer to the pace next time in her second straight sprint start. The outing is scheduled to come in the Winning Colors at Churchill Downs, according to trainer Brad Cox.
