Race 6

Nouvelle Vague (#6)

Probably needed her return last time after only having one recorded workout in the month prior.

Linda Rice gets a 95 TimeformUS Trainer Rating with horses making their second start off a layoff.

The Pace Projector is predicting a fast pace, which would benefit her if she can revert to her former closing tactics.

Gierkink: Woodbine horses to watch for week of Nov. 27

WANDOFUHR
Trainer: Mike Keogh
Last race: Nov. 26, 5th
Finish: 1st by 4 1/2
Beyer: 77
As expected, the striking chestnut improved second time out in a seven-furlong maiden special, leading all the way while a bit green with his lead switches. The 2-year-old by Langfuhr is bred for speed on the dam’s side, but could be a candidate for next year’s Queen’s Plate.

Hersh: How I'll play Del Mar on Sunday, Nov. 26

Let’s start with race 3, the Seabiscuit Handicap. OM (#2) is the 2-1 morning-line favorite, which is fine because Om is a really nice horse in solid enough form. Would I trust him to beat a decent bunch like this going as far as 1 1/16 miles? Gosh, no.

Beer: Aqueduct pick four for Sunday, Nov. 26

Race 2: NEWS ANCHOR is hard to trust, having lost two in a row as an odds-on favorite, but it's not like he hasn't had some reasonable excuses, and he is the horse to beat once again as he looks to finally win his maiden. I'll press him, but since he does have those losses at low odds showing, I'll also play a ticket against him using SMOOTH MOVE, PERFECTEXPECTATION and WORK OF ART.

TimeformUS Aqueduct Horses in Focus for Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017

Race 2:
Perfectexpectation (#9)

Lost all chance at the start last time, when off slowly and squeezed back.
Would be a major factor here if he runs back to his effort two back, when he chased a fast pace and held well for second.
Seems just as talented as favored News Anchor, will offer much better value.
