BreezeFigs Quick-Pix, Saturday, February 10, 2018 by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore

Bizarre play-out of our Pick at Oaklawn last week: BreezeFigs maidens completed an exacta, trifecta and superfecta, which should have made us happy except our two BreezeFigs keys were up the track. And to emphasize how deep this BreezeFigs crop is, a couple of hours later in the 9th at Oaklawn the same thing happened. Maybe we picked the wrong race? No matter.

TimeformUS Aqueduct Horses in Focus for Friday, Feb. 9, 2018

Race 6:
My Last Million (#5)

Was somewhat green in her second start, when she was ducking in from the whip.

Ran a much more professional race last time with blinkers and Lasix added.

The Pace Projector is predicting that she will be contesting the early pace in a situation favoring the front-runners.

7-5 on ML

Weekend Warrior for Saturday, Feb. 10: Picks for Gulfstream Park Turf, Suwannee River Stakes, Sam F. Davis Stakes

Benoit & Associates
Hi Happy (inside) finishes third in the Grade 3 Tokyo City Stakes his last time out.

NEW YORK – Saturday’s highest-rated and richest stakes race is the Grade 1, $300,000 Gulfstream Park Turf, supported by the Grade 3, $150,000 Suwannee River, but there are also very interesting events at Santa Anita and Tampa Bay Downs. There are three graded stakes at Santa Anita, including the Grade 2, $200,000 Santa Maria, which lured the highly talented Unique Bella, and the Grade 2, $200,000 San Vicente, which drew a field of only six but is still a fascinating race. At Tampa, the Grade 3, $250,000 Sam F.
