The Pace Projector is predicting that she will be on the early lead in a situation favoring the front-runner.

Has shown the ability to handle a wet track.

Is the only horse in this race that has earned speed figures fast enough to challenge the likely favorite Picture Day.

Our logical filly Pick last week, Onassis, got up to complete what you might call a “prominent ladies exacta” (the winner’s name is Condi, get it?) but our firster Pick in that race, Mongolian Rahy, didn’t show anything. However, two races later at Santa Anita a previous Pick, Karmic Affinity, won her second start to become one of 16 BreezeFigs maidens which took home the top prize last week.

Santa Anita’s early pick five (races 1-5) Saturday involves some short fields, but with three of the races for maidens, there may be some options to snag a price or two.

Has been facing much tougher company in his recent starts and now gets a needed drop in class.

Was two to three wide over a track that featured a gold rail last time.

NEW YORK – It’s all about Gulfstream Saturday, with the Grade 2, $400,000 Fountain of Youth Stakes marking the 2018 debut of last year’s champion 2-year-old male, Good Magic. The Fountain of Youth caps a 14-race card that includes eight other stakes, seven of them graded. The only other graded race to be found elsewhere Saturday is Santa Anita’s Grade 3, $100,000 Santa Ysabel Stakes.
