YUVETSI
Trainer:
John Sadler
Last race: April 20, 4th
Finish: 3rd by 6 3/4
Beyer: 81
Expected to contest the pace, this N2X sprint filly was not quick, steadied and shuffled back, and never able to establish position. This entire debacle was a toss. Follow in similar N2X.

SILENT POET

Trainer: Nick Gonzalez
Last race: April 22, 6th
Finish: 1st by 5 1/2

He blew away Ontario-sired maidens second time out following a long layoff, and shouldn’t have a problem clearing the first OS allowance condition in his next outing.

King: Keeneland late pick five for Sunday, April 22

The late pick five at Keeneland, already attractive due to its 15 percent takeout, is even more appealing Sunday with a couple of horses appearing to hold clear advantages in two of the wager’s races. So, I’ll take a crack, singling Abounding Joy in the fifth race and Autostrade in the seventh while going deep in other legs. Here’s a look at the sequence.

Peck: Charles Town pick four for Saturday, April 21

The late scratch of favored Moonlit Song changed the complexion of the sequence, but today's late Pick 4 at Charles Town remains an interesting sequence, of course culminating with the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic:

Race 2:
Cartwheel (#1)

Was badly hindered by a series of bumps at the start last time, which caused Trevor McCarthy to briefly lose an iron.

Should play out as the speed from her inside post position.

DRF Formulator Fact: Flatter is a respectable 16% dirt route sire.

Race 5:
Jet Black (#6)

Was completely eliminated at the start of the More To Tell last time.
Has been in over his head lately, but was competitive when last run in a cheap claiming race like this.
There is not much early speed in this field, so he should get a good trip sitting up close to the pace.
