Too Cool to Dance (#4) figures to go favored off an easy maiden victory against overmatched rivals. She had proven her quality in her prior start when finishing just behind her highly regarded stablemate Reversethedecision, and she is the horse to beat.

Beer: How I'd Play the Belmont Park late pick four on Saturday, June 9, 2018

Race 8: The $1.5 million-guaranteed all-Grade 1 pick four kicks off with the Just a Game.  Chad Brown sends out to the two favorites in this race in A Raving Beauty and Off Limits.  I strongly prefer Off Limits and will make her the focus of this pick four sequence.

Proctor's Ledge and Lull join A Raving Beauty on the backup tickets.

We’ll see who ends up taking money in this perplexing race. Generally, I’m somewhat against the Americans and want the new faces shipping in from Europe.

BreezeFigs Quick-Pix for Saturday, June 9, 2018, by Bob Fierro & Jay Kilgore

Despite both our Pix not getting a photo taken in the winner’s circle (one finished third, the other fourth), it was a revelatory week for BreezeFigs maidens, especially the 2-year-olds. Six babies broke their maidens at: Belmont (BreezeFigs exacta), Emerald Downs, Gulfstream, Laurel, Santa Anita and Woodbine at win payoffs up to $22. The sophomores did well also with a seven breaking their maidens at: Belmont, Gulfstream (two), Monmouth, Parx, Santa Anita and Woodbine.

The following is a compilation of key moments in Justify's career leading up to and including the Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Race 2:
Caitriona (#9)

Was stymied inside behind tiring horses on the far turn, losing valuable momentum in her turf debut.

Is bred to move forward on this surface given her strong damside grass pedigree.

Should appreciate the slight cutback to six furlongs

12-1 on ML
