May appreciate moisture in the surface and there is rain in the forecast overnight.

Was always out of position last time while racing wide.
Earned one of his best TimeformUS Speed Figures (113) over a muddy track earlier this year.
Sunday’s play of the day at Woodbine centers on an angle I have found appealing in routes for 2-year-olds at this time of year: a youngster stretching out with a distance pedigree.
This angle horse, running in the fifth race, is Matthews’ Orb, who after sprinting three times might be ready to move forward at 1 1/16 miles. His pedigree would suggest so, being a son of Orb, the 2013 Kentucky Derby winner.
There’s only one race I’m interested in at Del Mar this afternoon, and it happens to be the co-featured Seabiscuit Handicap. I wrote about the Seabiscuit earlier this week in the Weekend Warrior column, but I’ll look at the race from a wagering standpoint here.
