Race 2: Stole E (#3)
Ran deceptively well in his first couple of starts against tougher stakes company on turf.
Adds blinkers for the first time, which should help him show more speed.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, John Terranova is 6 for 27 (22 percent, $2.69 ROI) with maidens going from turf to dirt in sprints.

There are two graded stakes races at Santa Anita on Saturday, but all eyes are on the mandatory Rainbow 6 payout, a sequence that starts with race 5. Earlier this week, I made a video going over a DRF TicketMaker play, so I won’t break down each race here; instead, I’ll highlight a few interesting price horses to add value to your tickets should they hit. Keep in mind, the weather in Arcadia, Calif., looks awful, and we’re virtually guaranteed to be looking at sloppy-sealed conditions.

Race 2: Itgot Grandma (#6)

Was hindered by a slow pace in his debut going a distance that is too short for him.

Had little chance to make up ground behind a gate-to-wire winner at Laurel last time.

Is bred to relish added ground as a half-brother to Travers runner-up American Freedom and multiple stakes winning router Gottcha Gold.
