Race 2: Eddy Dirt (#2)
Raced greenly soon after the start in his debut, taking himself out of contention in the opening furlongs.
Was running fastest of all through the lane, achieving a final-eighth clocking that was more than a second faster than any other horse in the field.
The switch to leading rider Manny Franco suggests that the barn expects a better effort this time.

Seeing the potential for a couple of overbet favorites in the opening races at Oaklawn Park on Saturday, the early pick four there offers wagering appeal. Back from OBSMAR, the first 2-year-old sale of the year, and what a scene it was. The synthetic track was lightning fast for all three days which made for longer stride lengths (SL) and BreezeFigs that were through the roof. But in the end the ones that sold best were the ones that generally scored well on our BreezeFigs performance criteria. We shall see how they work out in a couple of months or so.

Faced considerably tougher rivals in his first two starts against maiden special weight company.
