Zoomin Jazz tops Harrah's Futurity

Zoomin Jazz will be tough to beat if he runs back to his stellar trial win Saturday in the $267,700 Harrah's Futurity for Quarter Horses at Louisiana Downs. He was the fastest qualifier for the 300-yard race, when he won his trial in 15.63 seconds March 6. The next fastest time for the series was the 15.80 turned in by trial winner Three Times Even.

Zoomin Jazz won his trial by 2 1/4 lengths, leading throughout under Adalberto Candanosa. He is a January foal by Azoom and is trained by Javier Contreras. Zoomin Jazz will be coupled with Endless Ocean, who won her trial in 15.81. Both horses are owned by Abelino Rojas.
