Zoomin Effortlessly dueled and prevailed by a length over Jessies First Down in the Grade 1, $200,000 All American Gold Cup for Quarter Horses on Sunday at Ruidoso Downs. The race was on the undercard of the $2.5 million All American Derby won by E C Jet One ($7).

Zoomin Effortlessly ($4.60) covered 440 yards in 21.09 seconds. Santos Carrizales was aboard for Telesforo Perrett and trainer Edelmiro Carrizales.

Zoomin Effortlessly on Sunday was crossing the wire first for the ninth straight time, but just eight of those races are counted as wins. Zoomin Effortlessly was disqualified from his victory in the Grade 1, $250,000 Remington Park Invitational in his prior start June 4 after testing over the threshold level for stanozolol, a steroid. Richard Lee Robinson, his trainer for his starts in Oklahoma, which included a win in the Grade 1 Leo Stakes, waived his right to a hearing and was fined $1,500.
