Zia: Spike It and Fly vs. Little Bit of Ah Ha

Spike It and Fly, a Grade 1 winner at Los Alamitos, and the improving Little Bit of Ah Ha head the Grade 2, $55,000 James Isaac Hobbs Stakes on Saturday at Zia Park.

Spike It and Fly was based at Los Alamitos, but traveled to New Mexico for the All American Gold Cup on Aug. 29 at Ruidoso Downs, finishing fifth. He stayed in New Mexico for the Hobbs and could point to the Grade 1, $175,000 Zia Park Quarter Horse Championship on Dec. 7.

Little Bit of Ah Ha has been successfully climbing the class leader. He won at the $25,000 claiming level, captured a conditioned allowance race, then ran second to Ketel Won in the All American Gold Cup at 22-1 odds.
