Zelda Can Dance won't be a longhsot in By the Light
Zelda Can Dance outran her 21-1 odds back in October, when closing for second in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat at Delta Downs. She will make her first start since then Friday night and figures to be a much shorter price in the track’s $75,000 By the Light.
The By the Light, a seven-furlong race run around two turns, is for 3-year-old fillies. Others making up the eight-horse field include Casual Class, fourth in the My Trusty Cat; Cool Song, who invades from Fair Grounds; and the stakes-placed Z Smoke.
